Cruisin' Around Portland

2.28.09

We took our '67 Caprice around Portland for some fun cruisin' time.
We hit a couple of local popular cruising spots of yesteryear: The Skyline Diner - whoa - around since 1935!
and Mt. Tabor. Hope you enjoy the pics!

We love the wood paneling.

Tod checking out the exterior of the building.

The old carport where you could park, turn on your lights and get food service
back in the 50's. And the cars looked much cooler back then than they do in this picture. :)

We stopped at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery after lunch so I could look for my
grandmother's grave. I didn't find it that day, but it was an interesting
excursion anyway.

We then stopped at Mt. Tabor Park. Another fun place to cruise your classic car through!
