Albany H.S. April Fools Day Car Show

4.4.09

Temperature: 63 degrees ~ 79 cars in attendance

Foggy morning is followed by a nice sunny day.

The Deathproof Nova in my rearview mirror. Kinda creepy!

Made it to Albany!

Tod with his morning cup of joe.

My little cruise-in companion.

Lap dog? That's what we heard this lady call him!

We met and talked to the owner of this car - nice guy - but are you sure that's how "Cruisers" is spelled? LOL

What a truck! This was my fav truck of the day.

This car had to be "crank" started. And notice the wheels are made out of wood!

These folks were just hanging out in their car reading the newspaper.

Tod liked this particular Chevy.

The only other Nova at the show besides the Deathproof.

Beautiful day, but was still cool enough to need my furs. :) Notice my little 1940's mink shawl.

We met the owner of this 1972 Chevy Malibu and learned the interesting story of how he acquisitioned it.
This car does have a couple of rare features: The two-tone color scheme with painted top,
not a vinyl top. And the seats are cloth, not vinyl.

Cool trophies!

The drive home was nice!
