Uptown Village Street Festival - Vancouver, WA - 8.18.07

~~~
Tod and I attended the Uptown Village Street Festival together.
He entered his 1971 El Camino in the cruise-in part of the festival,
and I danced in the bellydance performance.
Tod hooked up with a local artist who does pinstriping on cars,
and the inspiration hit to have his tattoo painted onto the back window of the Elco.
We had authetic Hawaiian food for lunch.
A perfect match!
We met Princess, who is a famous dog.
This car still has the tags on it from '64.
The artist who painted the logo on Tod's car, Ted Billings.
Ted has done work for many famous people.
I got to dance twice. This is my first set.
I danced to 'Andi Bel Donia' and then a drum solo.
I had to pose with the car! :)
And here is my second set. I danced to 'Ah Ya Leila'
Notice I am wearing sandals now...pavement is rough on the feet! :)
A special thanks goes out to Faddah (pictured in the background)
for organizing the bellydance at this festival.
A very special thank you to Tod for taking pictures of me. :)
