March 10-14, 2011 ~ I got to see San Francisco during my trip to the
Rakkasah Bellydance Festival. :)

Suzanna Del Vecchio and me - I got to take an amazing workshop
with her on Thursday night!

Downtown San Francisco - I love the architecture!

This street reminds me of the kinds of streets Steve McQueen
speed down in the movie "Bullitt".

Here is an oil pastel painting I did shortly before my trip.
It's supposed to be similar to the view you see here.

Ended up having dinner here later in the day.

The USS Pampanito - submarine from WWII.

Wow - the cables supporting the Golden Gate Bridge are made up of wires
enmassed into a bundle 3 ft in diameter!

I also saw seals swimming in the water below.

View from Fisherman's Grotto

The Rakkasah Bellydance Festival auditorium

Woo hoo! Mel's Diner!

Visiting Petaluma, where American Graffiti was filmed.
This is the parking lot where the cop car was rigged up and torn apart upon driving off.

Fun trip! Got to see lots of exciting new places!
