Tod executes a spinning neckbreaker before the finish.

Full Nelson finish.

Results from Friday

7/20/2007 New Revolution Wrestling was back at the Recreation Center in Gresham, Or. Here are the results of the second to the last Friday night event:

Match 1: Hearthrob Erik Hanson defeated Pete Storm. Storm was in control during the closing moments of the match when Cameron Star jumped on the apron, Skag Rollins cut him off but turned away from Cameron just in time to catch a huge spear from Tod Ruhl. As the ref was distracted by Ruhl, Star and Hanson set Storm up for a double DDT, Hanson rolled over on top of Storm for the win.

Match 2: Quiz pinned Krash 505. Quiz used the Quiz kick on his way to victory.

Match 3: Cedric The Hitman pinned the returning Christopher Payne after a hard fought battle.

At this point Buzz Anderson interviewed Derek Drexl and Exile. Exile continued his demands from last week that he receive a title shot against Pacific Coast Champion J-Sin Sullivan. Drexl refused to agree to that match on behalf of Sullivan. Drexl said that he put his own neck on the line to bring Exile to NRW after Exile had been fired from every other promotion in the Northwest. Drexl held up the contract that he and Exile have and said that without being a member of the Sindicate Exile wouldn't even be working for NRW, Derek ripped up the contract and told Exile to consider himself fired. Exile then attacked Derek but his attention was quickly turned to J-sin Sullivan who came tearing out of the locker room, only to be stopped by his partners later in the evening Pacific Coast Blondes and Tod Ruhl, Sullivan and Drexl went to the back as Exile called them to get in the ring. The fans gave Exile a surprising reaction as they cheered for him in his final appearance in NRW.

Match 4 saw Draven Vargas fair better for himself than his tag team partner Krash 503 did last week against the same opponent Tod Ruhl. However Ruhl was still dominant and won with the Full Nelson.

The Main Event saw the Six Man Tag Team Match pitting Richie Magnet, CW Bergstrom and Pete Storm against J-Sin Sullivan, and the Pacific Coast Blondes. The first elimination came at around the 15 minute mark as Cameron Star submitted to CW Bergstrom, shortly after the 20 minute mark Pete Storm was eliminated thanks to Erik Hanson and a handful of tights, this left the Oregon State Tag Team Champions CW and Magnet vs Sullivan and Hanson, ten minutes later CW was eliminated after Derek Drexl used his cane to help Sullivan get the pinfall. Magnet was able to catch Hanson with a belly to belly suplex to eliminate him, and at the end of the match Derek attempted to use his cane once again to help Sullivan, only Richie moved out of the way and Drexl split J-sin Sullivan wide open with the steel cane. Magnet covered for a pinfall to win the match!!

After the match Thrash Kincaid who is the Senior Official in NRW and has been given control by Commissioner The Grappler to act as the authority of NRW in his absence, said that since last week Magnet pinned Sullivan in the first fall of their battle, and tonight was the last man standing after again pinning Sullivan, that next week at "The Final Friday" Sullivan would have to defend the championship against Magnet in a ONE FALL match!

Also next week as a result of the Six Man Tag Team match, and the opening match of the evening Hearthrob Erik Hanson has accepted the challenge from Pete Storm, however Thrash Kincaid has stated that neither man may be allowed to be accompanied to ringside, therefore Skag Rollins, Megan Nicole, Tod Ruhl and Cameron Star are all banned from ringside!
